Terminal Hardware Information:

There are three main sources for LTSP thin-client terminals.

Amer.com - TC500
Contact:
Wes Van de Polder
wvandepolder@amer.com
DisklessWorkstations.com - HP t5305
Contact: James McQuillan
jam@McQuil.Com

You can build your own workstation from old or new parts.
TC500
We used a lab full of TC500's at NECC in New Orleans . They have no moving parts, are totally silent, very small and make a great workstation.
hp Compaq t5305
The HP t5305 is one of several clients available. James McQuillan is the lead developer of the LTSP.org project.
You can also re-use hardware. Technology Rescue.com is a good source for inexpensive, reconditioned workstations. They also sell complete, turn-key K12LTSP labs with servers already configured.

If you know of other hardware solutions for small LTSP terminals let me know and I'll add them to this page. ;-) Paul pnelson@riverdale.k12.or.us
